Introduction:

The course aims at providing students with an analytical understanding of the underlying cultural assumptions which give rise to different beliefs and values about the practice of management.


Objectives:

By the end of the course, students should demonstrate an ability to:

  • Understand the various theoretical perspectives and practical approaches to dealing with culture, cultural difference, and cultural change within the framework of international business,

  • Understand management practices in different cultural environments,

  • Develop personal approaches to manage cultural challenges in an international business context, and

  • Reach a decent level of understanding of culture and its uses to build more effective business relationships.
