Dominik Birkmeier

Lebenslauf

Dominik Birkmeier (Jahrgang 1981) studierte, nach Beendigung seines Wehrdienstes, Wirtschaftsmathematik an der Universität Augsburg mit den Schwerpunkten Statistik, Operations Research sowie Wirtschaftsinformatik. Parallel hierzu erwarb Herr Birkmeier einen Master of Science in Statistik an der Iowa State University.
 
Während seines Studiums war Herr Birkmeier in unterschiedlichen Funktionen unter anderem bei der Deloitte & Touche GmbH in München und der Axima GmbH in München beschäftigt. Studienbegleitend war er zudem als studentische Hilfskraft am Lehrstuhl von Prof. Dr. Klaus Turowski, sowie als Teaching Assistant an der Iowa State University, angestellt. Seit Mai 2008 ist er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Wirtschaftsinformatik und Systems Engineering der Universität Augsburg tätig.
 
Herr Birkmeier ist Mitglied der Forschungsgruppe Component und Service Engineering. Seine Forschungsinteressen liegen insbesondere in der Identifikation von Diensten und Komponenten, in der Anwendbarkeit von Geschäftsprozessmodellierungsmethoden für Fachanwender sowie in Methoden zur Analyse großer Datenmengen.
