Matthias Jung, born in June 1984, pursued his studies in Economics at Wayne State University Detroit, MI. He graduated in May 2009 and was awarded with the Master of Arts. In December 2009 he completed his degree (business studies) at the University of Augsburg. Furthermore he completed several internships in the public health sector, e.g. in Switzerland.

Since January 2010 Matthias Jung is working as a research associate at the chair of Volkswirtschaftslehre V (Economics V) hold by Prof. Hanusch, where he oversees seminars dealing with public sector management. Besides he lectures “Grundlagen des Public Sector Management” available in winter term.

He is particularly interested in cost-benefit-analysis, the public health sector, as well as methods of poverty prevention.
