Lebenslauf

Torben Klarl, geboren 1979 in Ulm, studierte im Hauptstudium Volkswirtschaftslehre mit den Schwerpunkten "Datenanalyse & Statistik" und "Empirische Makroökonomik" an der Universität Augsburg. Während seines Studiums war er als studentische Hilfskraft und Tutor am Lehrstuhl Maußner tätig. Darüber hinaus absolvierte Herr Klarl Praktika bei bekannten Unternehmensberatungen. Er fertigte seine (empirische) Diplomarbeit mit dem Titel "Die zyklischen Eigenschaften der deutschen Arbeitslosenquote - Ein Schätzansatz mit Regime-Wechsel-Modellen" am Lehrstuhl Maußner an.

Nach seinem Abschluss als Diplom-Volkswirt ist er seit Oktober 2006 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Lehrstuhl für Volkswirtschaftslehre V, insb. Innovationsökonomik bei Prof. Dr. Hanusch tätig. Darüber hinaus erfüllte Herr Klarl einen Lehrauftrag an der FH Neu-Ulm. Im Rahmen des Lehrauftrages betreute er die Veranstaltungen "Grundlagen der Datenanalyse", "Entwicklungsökonomik" und "Grundlagen der Außenwirtschaftspolitik" . Im Zeitraum vom 01. September bis 31. Dezember 2009 war Herr Klarl am Zentrum für Europäische Wirtschaftsforschung GmbH, ZEW in Mannheim tätig und nahm darüber hinaus einen Lehrauftrag an der Universität Heidelberg war. In diesem Zeitraum ist Herr Klarl von seiner Tätigkeit an der Universität Augsburg beurlaubt. Überdies promovierte er im Jahr 2009 zum Thema „Knowledge Diffusion Processes: Theoretical and Empirical Considerations“.
