Maximilian Rüger studied at the Universities of Konstanz and Bath. He graduated from the former with a (Master equivalent) degree in Economics. Since October 2005 he is a member of the doctoral program „Quantitative Economics and Finance“ of the University of Konstanz. From October 2005 to March 2006 he was supported by a grant of the state of Baden-Württemberg. Since April 2006 he is employed at the chair for public economics of the University of Augsburg.
