Model Simulation with GAUSS
Description
GAUSS is an easy to learn matrix oriented programming language which is well suited for the solution of computable general equilibrium models. In addition, it is a very flexible tool for statistics and econometrics. In the course, the most important elements of GAUSS are introduced. Simultanuously, students learn to apply GAUSS to solve dynamic economic models and econometric problems. Experience in programming is not assumed.
