Content In each semester different themes are offered.
They are announced at the beginning of the respective semester.
For example:
- Application of stakeholder theory to the strategic management of innovation and internationalization
- Behavioral strategy
- Current topics in international business
Participation requirements
Prerequisites for attending the seminar are a library introduction course (Lern- and Service Centre, registration via Digicampus) and
attendance of the modules "Management: Globale Nachhaltigkeit" (formerly: Internationales Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement" or "Management: Nachhaltigkeit") and "Management: Innovation and International Business" (formerly: "Strategic Management of Innovation and International Business").
The course has limited capacity. Information about registration can be found on the website of the chair.

Goals/
Competence
On successful completion of this module students should be able to understand and work with the existing literature on a selected topic. Furthermore, the students apply theoretical concepts to novel questions and research fields and analyze them with their own explanatory model with testable hypotheses or based on empirical analyses. Students should be able to apply and use theories to abstract secondary influencing variables and familiarize with causal thinking and the operationalization and use of theoretical constructs in empirical analyses. Besides using presentation techniques to present their own work, students should comprehend and engage with the research work of their fellow students.
