Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Philipp Wunderlich is management Consultant at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Company) in the Stuttgart Office. His major consulting interest is in the area of transforming strategic requirements of service industry clients into IT strategies and architectures that meet their business needs with special focus on retail, energy and public sector clients.

Prior to his time with Strategy&, Dr. Wunderlich worked for Netze BW GmbH. During his employment he was responsible for several projects in the renewable energies, smart grids and smart metering area.

Dr. Wunderlich holds a Diploma and PhD in business administration of the University of Mannheim. He earned his PhD at the Business School of the University of Mannheim for his dissertation entitled “Green Information Systems in the Residential Sector: An Examination of the Determinants of Smart Meter Adoption”. During his PhD he was a visiting scholar at the College of Business, Washington State University, Pullman, US invited by Prof. Saonee Sarker. To date, he is a research fellow at the chair for “Information Systems and Management” of Prof. Dr. Daniel Veit. His research interests comprise user-acceptance research, motivational psychology, incentive systems and IT service innovations. In the past years, Dr. Wunderlich has published articles in international scientific journals and contributions in proceedings of leading international conferences. Amongst others, his work has been accepted for publication in MIS Quarterly, Journal of Service Research and the proceedings of the International Conference on Information Systems.
