The aim of the course is to enable students to know, analyze and apply different concepts of corporate governance. Through an examination of a select group of public policies, students come to an understanding of the fundamental nature of entrepreneurship and the close connection between public- and private-sector entrepreneurial activity. Student work will apply course material to the identification of public-sector entrepreneurial policies and the assessment of the implications of such policies for private-sector entrepreneurial activity. Overall, student should learn to use and interprete governance concepts as well as to apply them to concrete situations.
